We are so excited that it’s that time of year once again, Social Media Day is right around the corner! We are gearing up to make this year’s celebration the best one yet! #SMDAYTampa occurs every year on June 30th thanks to Mashable, we are able to recognize all of the amazing contributions social media has on our community. While every day is essentially Social Media Day, June 30th, 2017 marks the eighth-annual global celebration and seventh in Tampa. Last year we threw an unforgettable party, but this year we are ready to blow it of the water!

We have been organizing Social Media Day since it began here in Tampa and this year we are expecting hundreds of local social media professionals, influencers, and bloggers to come out for an amazing evening. The past few years have been fantastic and this year we have some surprises in store.

Twelve of Tampa’s most engaging and influential bloggers will take a ride around town in VW Beetles! We caravan and stop by a handful of local spots to share snaps, photos, and complete challenges leading up to the #SMDAYTampa Main Event!

Early Access VIP Hour
At 5pm, we invite our best and brightest VIP’s to come by for our Early Access VIP Hour at Ferg’s Live! This exclusive pre-party sells out every year and is extremely limited, so if you are interested in networking with some of the best social media professionals in Tampa Bay, be sure to grab your ticket NOW! Although #SMDAYTampa is a FREE event, we do encourage ALL attendees to make a donation which goes directly to a local charity. This year, we are excited to announce our amazing beneficiary, Gasparilla Music Fest! GMF is a local nonprofit that celebrates the best of Tampa Bay’s diverse music scene, highlighting local emerging acts and nationally recognized headliners.
Six o’clock kicks off the main festivities that include engagements with our sponsors, Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino Tampa, Chef Inspired Popcorn, Mini Doughnut Factory, Hype Group, and more to come. Sip on a specialty cocktail from Tito’s Vodka and grub on some food supplied by Ferg’s Live!
In addition to great tasting cocktails and delicious food, we also encourage everyone to participate in our amazing raffle. Your donation will grant you 5 raffle tickets to start the fun and we also sell additional tickets too!
