It seems to happen every week for us, we wake up on Saturday or Sunday and we want brunch… a great way to help us recover from a wild night out or a reason to start our Sunday Funday. Either way, the hardest part is picking somewhere to go. That is why we put together some of our favorites, something for every mood!
Ava– Underrated Italian
Of course, Ava would be at the top of our list if we were thinking about authentic local Italian, but brunch? YES, make your next brunch at Ava. It seriously is sooooo underrated (We aren’t even sure if they promote it)! It’s like breakfast and Italian got together and made a delicious menu of breakfast pizza, lemon ricotta pancakes, omelettes and more!

O Cocina– Modern Mexican
We don’t only crave tacos on Tuesday. So if you are anything like us a need a weekend Mexican indulgence, then make some time for O Cocina. It’s fairly new and located on Henderson in South Tampa. The menu is consistent with their upscale Mexican dishes along with a robust cocktail menu just for brunch.

Datz– Over-the-Top, Brunchin’ Hard
If you want all your wildest brunch dreams to come true, then you must head into Datz. Their over-the-top menu will satisfy everyone! Come hungry or plan to leave with a little something for later, because as you can tell from the below photos, these dishes are NO joke!

Timpano– Classic Chophouse
If you keep up with our Instagram account (check it out), you know we spend some time in Hyde Park Village, and before it was the bustling renaissance that it is now, you could and still can count on Timpano for a well serviced, classic meal. One Sunday not too long ago we decided to try out their brunch service and were very happy we did. First, they offer bottomless mimosas with a full fledged bar of juices and fruit to make it your own. So naturally we had to try a few flavors to see what we liked best.
The menu doesn’t disappoint either thanks to their chophouse twist on classic Benedict and chef specialties from sweet to savory.

We hope that we helped you plan your next brunch and would love to hear how it goes, so definitely keep us posted and share your stories. If you have any other recommendations for brunch we would love to hear them.
