We are so excited to kick off a new concept on the blog with “Wedding Wednesdays”. Over the next two months, we will be posting a spotlight on each of the amazing vendors we have lined up to make our special day unforgettable. We began this blog with the goal to support small businesses and everything local here in Tampa. On that journey, we have met some really talented and fantastic, like-minded people. As a result, we are confident that the A-Team we assembled for our big day this March are going to make all of our dreams come to fruition.
This week, we would like to give some huge props to our favorite local photog, Ashlee Hamon of Ashlee Hamon Photography. We met way back when at the Food and Wine Conference in Orlando and hit it off almost immediately. Once we got back to Tampa, we bumped into each other a handful of times before we connected more formally during on of our styled shoots. We had such a blast helping out at the shoot, that Ryan and Ashlee secretly conspired to make the most amazing surprise proposal happen! Check out all of the fun on her blog!
Ashlee Hamon Photography is based in Seminole Heights and she grew up here in Tampa before running over to UCF for college. She is very community focused and has some really great vendor contacts (that just so happen to be her good friends too). One of the coolest things about Ashlee is how some of her couples have taken her along for the ride to capture the coolest moments abroad for their destination weddings and even a recent honeymoon to ICELAND! You have to check out all of the sights she shots while traveling. SO COOL!
With all of the beautiful shots Ashlee captured at our proposal and with her upbeat and super positive attitude, it was a no brainer that she would be a part of making our big day everything we want it to be. Once we locked down Ashlee, we met up to discuss plans for other vendor recommendations. As mentioned, she has some great friends in the biz, so we went ahead and moved on to next steps.
