If you haven’t heard yet, Cask Social puts out a seasonal menu. I had the opportunity to try a few of them since they opened and this is by far my favorite! A variety of dishes include seafood, meat, shareable plates, and more.
Thanks to an invite from Cask Social, I got to test out the new seasonal menu in exchange for some social media love and a blog post. All opinions are my own.
Cask is known for their Southern cuisine and hospitality that is perfectly represented in their menu options.
Shareable plates to start include some of my favorites like burrata and pretzels! I also got to taste the trio of deviled eggs and it was very surprising. It’s not often that you find deviled eggs on a menu (at least in my experience) and these are so creative. Bacon Truffle, Avocado, and Lobster that come accompanied with chives and jalapeno salt.

After working up some thirst from the “Thee Bavarian Pretzel,” I needed a nice cold refreshment. The new cocktail and specialty drink menu is filled with fun “Pop-tails,” Mason-jar punches, handcrafted cocktails and of course, the classics. I searched for the signature tequila drink and landed on the delicious Ginger Melon Margarita (Of which I had two!).

The stars of the meal are definitely the main courses. The citrus scallops are sweet and aromatic while the mushroom pasta was delightfully decadent and creamy. My personal favorite was the hanger steak because it had so much to offer. The herb crust, whiskey demi-glace and fried egg made this a meal to remember.

As good as the share plates, cocktails and main courses are, the meal wouldn’t be finished without some breakout sweets. Cask’s take on parfaits lets you experience diverse flavors in a bite. Each mason jar is filled to the brim with tons of rich, dense and creamy goodness that was almost too much for me. You definitely have to be a sweet tooth for these ones.

I had a great experience testing out the new menu and I hope you enjoyed following along. If you get a chance to test it out for yourself, then please let us know what you enjoyed!
Cheers,
Ryan
