As most of you know, Ryan and I love working with people in the community. Especially, when those people are creative, fun to be around, and are looking to make our awesome city even better than it already it! Cue CocktailsXCouture and Pride & Passion.
CocktailsXCouture is a celebration of art, entertainment and fashion that takes place at The Ritz Ybor. Pride & Passion is the main beneficiary of this fundraiser, so we were 100% attending! During CocktailsXCouture, we even helped by selling Pride & Passion tickets to raise additional funds for the event. We drank some cocktails, watched all of the awesome entertainment, and really enjoyed the night. It was also great to catch up with many of our friends that we haven’t seen since before the holidays.
Last year, through a close friend we met through blogging, we were invited to attend Pride & Passion at the Tampa Museum of Art in Downtown Tampa. At the time, we were unsure really what we were going to, but the minute we walked into the building that night, we knew it was going to be an event that was right up our alley. Pride & Passion is Tampa Bay’s celebration of diversity benefiting the Tampa Museum of Art. This annual event has become known for its eclectic mix of people, eye-popping decor, and breathtaking live performances. The gala takes place within the sublime, modern space which houses the area’s premiere art museum and includes top-shelf open bar featuring signature cocktails, imported wines and champagne,l micro-brews, and mouth-watering treats, both savory and sweet.
After that event, we immediately jumped on board for the next event. As a result, Ryan and I now sit on the Community Outreach Committee for the Pride & Passion event this year and we couldn’t be more excited about the mission of this event in our community.
CELEBRATE IN COLOR! Experience the 11th annual Pride & Passion NOW IN TECHNICOLOR on Saturday, April 23, 2016 from 8pm to midnight at the Tampa Museum of Art.
Tickets are $85.00 in advance, and include hors d’oeuvres, open bar, surprise entertainment, private gallery access, and a one-year Museum membership. Guests are encouraged to dress in color attire. Proceeds benefit the Tampa Museum of Art’s education programs and exhibitions.
