Love is definitely in the air! It’s almost Valentine’s Day and with just a day or two left to snag your special someone something extra special, we are here to help. You may recognize Gayle, owner of Florist Fire, from the work she did on our surprise engagement last year. Well, Hyde Park Village must have gotten word of her work (because her business is BOOMING) and invited her to open a pop-up shop at their new spot known as The Fling.
Don’t get it twisted, our favorite local photog, Ashlee Hamon, shot these amazing photos of the shop and good friend, Becky, owner of Tufted Vintage Rentals and Styling was there for the ride. These girls love to collaborate to create the most beautiful events around. Together, they also run Vintage Heights Studio (VHS) in Seminole Heights. We have them locked in on our radar for our upcoming wedding too 😉
Anyways, Gayle’s pop-up shop, Florist Fire, is open now through Sunday (February 14th). She has a la cart items, designer’s choice, and even a subscription program to enjoy. We are big fans of the subscription because we love fresh greenery and flowers in our home but hate getting them from chain stores around town. As you know, we support #everythinglocal, so this option is right up our alley! We also love Florist Fire because she is so creative and easy to work with. You tell her your style, favorite color, price point, and occasion, and she can whip up quite the floral work of art!
Above, you will see all of my awful photography skills compared to Ashlee’s professional masterpieces. HAHA. Anyways, stop in and grab your special someone a little something special for Valentine’s Day.Make the smart choice and shop small! It’s people like Gayle that are making Tampa Bay a great place to live!Be sure to tell Gayle we sent you. Happy Valentine’s Day!
