It’s no secret that brunch is one of our favorite things to do, even if it makes us “basic.” The Hyde Out’s brunch is the perfect way to kick off your Sunday Funday. Its funky atmosphere and up beat music, this place will get you going any Sunday morning or keep you moving from the night before.

With a slogan like, “Make Drinks, Not War,” this venue delivers a strong menu with an energetic environment and drinks to please. Our latest brunch adventure to The Hyde Out was after a fun night out in Ybor, so we called our boys and headed over around noon. The atmosphere is one of our favorites in Tampa, we arrived to a taped session from the DJ set the night prior. This sets the tone for the entire experience.

The limited menu is stacked with some everyday classics like, “Wakey, Wakey, Eggs and Bakey,” and “Steak and Eggs,” but also deliver with their “Signature French Toast,” which is more like bread pudding, in our opinion. We stuck to the egg dishes for our meals but had to order some french toast for the table. We even asked them to cut it up so we could share as an appetizer.

They also offer a some speciality brunch cocktails that looked awesome, but we opted for a few bottles of Champagne. You can never go wrong with a classic mimosa!! We also order some pineapple juice because it pairs great with the Champagne and tastes great.

Before we knew it we had a few mimosa, tasted half the menu and were well on our way to a fun afternoon.

Have a great Sunday Funday,

Ryan
