Twenty-one is over-rated at this St Petersburg brewery. Located in the warehouse district, just off of Central Ave on 22nd Street, Three Daughters Brewing is a massive 10,000 square-foot brewery open to the public. Named after the owners three daughters, the brewery has some signature brews like Beach Blonde Ale always on tap and rotates in new ones, like Kahwa Coffee Porter.
Nicholas and I planned a Sunday in St Pete to do some local shopping for our Tampa home, but also made it a point to stop into Three Daughters to grab a crisp, refreshing beer to cool down after hours touring the vintage shops on Central. It was actually the first time the brewery was open on a Sunday but now it plans to be open seven days a week! There is one main bar located inside that serves beer flights for those of you that are indecisive about beer, pints for those of you that like to stick to your favorite and even a growler to take your very favorite home to share with your friends. You can pull up a chair and play a game of Cards Against Humanity or head to the warehouse.

The warehouse is full of backyard and basement style games for your enjoyment. Everything from cornhole and giant Jenga to foosball and ping-pong. The place is full of fun time games for the whole family, that’s right, there were definitely some young-ins sipping on root beer and playing shuffle board. Oh but a word to the wise… don’t play too hard because the warehouse is not air conditioned, it is cooled with giant fans and if you know me, it doesn’t take much for me to break a sweat.
After you work up an appetite trying to beat your best friend at an “innocent” game of foosball, you can eat at one of the many food trucks that Three Daughters arranges to swing by and serve the guests. If you happen to be there when there is no truck serving, don’t worry, you can make your way to Taco Bus, Tropiccool Cafe or Urban Brew and BBQ which are all located less than 5 minutes from the brewery.
So now that you are ready to get your drink on and relive your childhood, plan a day, night or weekend to head over to Three Daughters in St Pete for a good time.
And if you are a Tampa Bay techie, join us this Thursday for Collaborative Technologies of Tampa Bay’s Quarterly Networking Party! It’s a free event for those in the tech world to connect.
Hope to see you there!
